Oliver is an artist who works from life, capturing moments using bold colours and expressive mark making. Working in a range of mediums, including pastels and oil paint, he captures a variety of subjects, from flowers to portraits, and still lifes to landscapes. He describes his work as a documentary of experiences, and as a way of exploration and understanding.

 

Oliver is currently an artist in residence at Brothership Studio in Hertford, although his practice largely take him outside to work en plein air.
